Jennifer & Charles // Arlington, Texas Wedding

Jennifer and Charles had a chill, heartfelt, and beautiful rainy day wedding at the Arlington, TX River Legacy Nature Center. Rain and storms didn’t stop these two from celebrating their love at all. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. That a knot that gets wet is far harder, or impossible, to untie. “Tying the knot” on a rainy day just means you guys are gonna have the greatest marriage, and boy do I believe that.

Jennifer’s family is Chinese and we started the day by celebrating their marriage with a tea ceremony. Tea ceremonies get me every time, I’m becoming a crier guys (don’t worry it’s all behind my camera.) This particular tea ceremony was filled with the sweetest words and gifts exchanged between family/friends and the bride and groom. 

They opted for a first look and doing all the bride and groom portraits before the ceremony, which was a GOOD thing because we barely missed the rain. It started raining during portraits! It sprinkled during the whole ceremony and the rest of the evening. But, these guys made the best of it! 

Jennifer and Charles, your love is so genuine and overwhelming. Thank you for choosing me to document this sweet season of your life. Congratulations friends. <3
