I met Jennifer in a photojournalism class at the University of North Texas. She always seemed so laid back, easy going, and just really really cool. You know those people that you always end up saying dumb stuff to that you kick yourself for later, that was Jennifer.

Years later, after life has taken us down significantly different paths. I was privileged with the opportunity to meet back up with her in Denton, TX and document who she is at this stage in her life.

Since graduation, Jennifer has been on some incredible journeys. She has lived in Thailand, Nicaragua, Saudi Arabia, and California. In her travels she has found pieces of herself.

She told me stories with wonder in her eyes of Thailand and her experiences there. She said that during the rainy season in Thailand people would take boats to work because the roads would be flooded but people still needed to eat and businesses still needed to run.

We giggled about her love for wine, reading books, and taking life easy. I am so thankful for her openness and her love for yoga.
